По сценарию Лаури прикован к стулу на дне бассейна, и он начинает плакать чёрными горючими слезами до тех пор, пока бассейн не заполнится ними доверху. Лаури также сказал, что погружение в его черные слезы - это всё равно, что утопать в его собственном горе; как суицид, но красивым путём.
